Army of Green Men was created to make noise for individuals in need of attention. As #QuaidsARMY has grown we have found ourselves fortunate enough to make noise for another family in need of attention.
But this time it was different.
The Hayes family experienced a tragedy that many family’s have experienced, the premature birth of their beautiful twins, Caiden and Kaylie. As they put it, “On that Easter Sunday our twins were born with angels wings. Born premature and too young to survive.” The Hayes family is using their tragedy to help others and started a GoFundMe to purchase a Cuddle Cot, that will allow families who experience the same tragedy to spend a few extra hours with the children they never got to watch grow up. But the GoFundMe had stalled, just shy of its goal.
They asked us for help. With just over 10,000 followers on Instagram, Facebook and Twitter, AoGM feelt compelled to try and help jump-start the Hayes family GoFundMe.
In order to do so we introduced everyone to a pretty pink princess with the hashtag #CaidenAndKayliesPrincess she is the symbol of their cause, traveling, being photographed, and shared with all of our followers.
In just under 12 hours of the first picture being posted their goal was met, and Feburary 10, 2016 the Hayes family donated their Cuddle Cot to the same Rochester hospital where their angles Caiden and Kaylie came into this world just a little too early.
